A very modern bed and breakfast!

Thank you to our hosts Linette and Dermot for a lovely stay. We were lucky with the weather-it was beautiful but we were told it has its own micro climate! The accommodation is stunning-modern, clean and beautifully furnished and a great breakfast with locally sourced ingredients. A great location-overlooking the Caledonian canal and Inverness is a thriving city. However, it's the attention to detail of our hosts that made our stay that something a little special-Thank youX

Unbelievable

Everything was just wonderful!!! We enjoyed the hot tub and the breakfast in the room. The house owners were fantastic hosts and took care of every single detail. Highly recommended if you are looking to stay in Inverness

Welcoming and helpful hosts, restful place to stay, tasty breakfast! This was a wonderful place to stay. The added bonus of having an incredible breakfast in the room was a treat. The place is beautifully decorated, and the extra large bed was very comfy! Linette and Dermot were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful, just perfect hosts.

We thought Inverness was an excellent centre for visiting many interesting and picturesque places.

We loved the feel of the house, its thoughtful design and tasteful furnishings. It was very comfortable and relaxing and the hosts, Lynette and Dermot, were very welcoming, friendly and attentive. The choices for breakfast were suitable for a wide range of tastes and the food was fresh and well-prepared. We really liked the fact that the house was adjacent to the Caledonian Canal marina with its scenic footpath walk. Excellent.
Nothing. We really enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to return if we stayed in the area again.

Great B&B for a stay in Inverness

Wonderful B&B near the edge of Inverness town

Newly constructed with first class, spacious bed room, bath, shower and jacuzzi - very nice Nordic feel; looks out over marina with great walking trail just next to the marina waterway - wonderful and helpful couple who own and operate - good local knowledge of restaurants and sights - first class king sized bed - just a great bargain !!!

Inverness House is just perfect!

Inverness House is just perfect! Linette and Dermot are really nice and sensitive persons, taking care of every detail. The room is wide and nicely decorated, with a view. Breakfast is superb, you have three different choices, all very fresh. The house is located within a walking distance to the centre of Inverness (around 20 min). Maybe the best Guest House ever!

Perfect Treat!

We stayed for our anniversary and Inverness House was all the luxury we expected. There were lots of extras like the fridge in the room with fresh milk and soft drinks, luxury toiletries, and even slippers. The bed was comfy and everything was spotlessly clean. The view from the room is great and there's plenty of room for relaxing in if you're not out and about. There is also a lovely walk along the canal, right on the doorstep. Breakfast was tasty. I especially loved the freshly prepared fruit and yogurt. Linette and Dermot were great hosts and we would definitely stay again.

Fantastic Hosts; First Class Operation!

The hosts, Linette and Dermont, were quite amazing. We had a plan, but Dermont recommended an itinerary and we ditched our plan and saw sights and nature not listed in any of the guidebooks. They went over and above and gave us a complete booklet of travel maps which made the day great and easy to follow. When we left, they insisted we keep the maps and they really came in handy. They were super nice, helpful and did everything possible to make sure our stay was spectacular. I can't say enough about the accommodations, we stayed in the upper end room and it was so good, my wife wants their bathroom recreated in our home - their taste is amazing and the decor beautiful. They stock the mini-fridge with healthful beverages and really went over and above on breakfast - Lynette seems to shop everyday to make things fresh and accommodate diverse preferences. I could go on about the great walks around the surrounding waterways, wine in the hot tub, proximity to a grocery, and did i mention Fantastic Hosts. Let's just say, book it and you see why there is only one place I would stay upon return to Inverness!

Perfect B&B

We liked everything about Inverness House. The owners/Hosts were very welcoming and helpful. Great accommodation, well looked after & comfortable. Our room overlooked the Caledonian canal. A smashing view. Great breakfast with great choice options. Everything we needed for our 4 night stay. They helped/advised us on where to go & what to see. Even printing off directions! Without a hint of hyperbole, it was perfect in every way.

In all our travel experiences over the years, my husband and I have NEVER encountered a Guest House as beautifully designed (gorgeous contemporary interior and exterior complete with elegant and creative interior design touches everywhere, and a very comfortable bed), well-appointed, exceptionally spacious and warmly hospitable as Inverness House. Linette and Dermot were far more than hosts: chefs, travel guides, and patient hosts who gave us our space to enjoy our private holiday, and showed up fully when we had a need. And they're fascinating people! They went far above and beyond in order to make our stay as much like home as possible. We'll be back.

Beautiful Location

We had a fantastic stay and Linette was a fantastic host, the breakfast was amazing with plenty of gluten free options for my partner. The location is perfect with all the sights of Inverness nearby. The room was large and comfortable with an abundance of tea, coffee and buscuits available. We needed to leave our bags after check out and this was absolutely fine and we were never made to feel like an imposition, we were even offered a cup of tea on our return while waiting for our taxi. I would definitely recommend this excellent bed and breakfast.
